RADAR closes the loop on incident response, from discovery to multi-factor risk assessment to notification in the event of a data breach.

PORTLAND, Ore. — March 27, 2017 — RADAR, Inc., a patented, award-winning incident response management and decision-support SaaS solution provider, announced today a strategic new partnership and platform enhancements. These advancements extend RADAR’s unique capabilities, designed to provide privacy, security and legal professionals efficient and consistent incident risk assessment for making decisions for compliance with applicable data breach laws and contractual notification obligations and for establishing proof of compliance.

RADAR is committed to continuous innovation, with significant enhancements introduced in the first quarter of 2017 that help close the loop on incident response. Patented features were introduced to simplify management of contractual data breach notification obligations for upstream and downstream business relationships with clients, service providers, and business associates. The new Notification Letters Module enables seamless creation and management of notification letters from within the RADAR platform, providing organizations with a simple way to manage the final step in the incident response process for all incidents involving mandatory or voluntary notification.

In partnership with the IAPP, the world’s largest association of privacy professionals, RADAR developed an innovative tool to simplify access to and analysis of complex global data breach laws and associated notification requirements. This tool, free for IAPP members, delivers  access to current overviews of breach notification laws and associated scope, risk assessment provision, reporting requirements and penalties for the U.S., Canada, EU countries (including GDPR), and select countries in Asia. The IAPP will host a webinar for its members on March 30 to preview the tool, and demos will be available in the RADAR booth (#5) at the IAPP Global Privacy Summit in April.

“RADAR helps privacy, security and legal professionals ensure their organizations are compliant with complex and ever-changing regulatory and contractual obligations,” said Mahmood Sher-Jan, CEO of RADAR, Inc. “Combined with our innovative Breach Guidance Engine™, these recent enhancements and our strategic integrations and partnerships provide a closed-loop process for consistent and efficient management of incident response, from discovery to multi-factor risk assessment based on current data breach laws to notification. With each new development we further operationalize incident response management for our customers.”
