Integration connects privacy with security and IT teams to speed time to incident resolution
Portland, OR — August 12, 2020 – RadarFirst, the leader in privacy incident response automation, announced today the launch of two ServiceNow applications that deliver an industry-first solution connecting the Radar risk assessment and breach notification decision support platform with ServiceNow. Radar for Security Operations and Radar for IT Service Management are both available in the ServiceNow Store.

Given increasingly stringent data privacy regulations and their notification timelines, it is critical that security, IT, and privacy—along with compliance and legal—are aligned when responding to incidents involving personal data to avoid risk of wasted time and resources. The Radar integration with ServiceNow enables efficient incident response management across teams and throughout the incident lifecycle, from discovery to risk assessment to resolution.

Incidents tracked within ServiceNow that involve compromised personal data and require investigation by the privacy team are routed to Radar for automated risk scoring and assessment in accordance with both regulatory and third-party notification obligations. A bidirectional relationship between the two platforms creates a seamless workflow and facilitates the exchange of critical information across teams, who work in parallel to reduce decision time and efficiently resolve incidents.

“Privacy and security teams are challenged to quickly respond to and manage risks associated with the inevitable incidents common to organizations in highly regulated industries,” said Mahmood Sher-Jan, RadarFirst CEO. “Since our early days, RadarFirst has been committed to finding innovative ways to automate complex manual processes and speed incident response decision-making. Our integration with ServiceNow is the continuation in this journey, integrating privacy into security and IT incident response workflows to ensure the streamlined, cross-functional collaboration necessary to mitigate organizational risks and enable compliance with breach notification requirements and deadlines.”

The Radar applications are now available in the ServiceNow Store. RadarFirst was also accepted into the ServiceNow Partner Program March, 2020.
