Dwayne Melancon, CISA CTO and VP of R&D | Tripwire
Dwayne joined Tripwire in 2000 and has been an integral part of the company’s growth from $5m in revenue to $160m in revenue. Tripwire is a wholly owned subsidiary of the publicly traded Belden Corporation (BDC), following a $710m acquisition by Belden in December 2014.
Dwayne leads Tripwire’s global technology research & development organization including in-house, offshore, and near-shore resources. He and his team create and deliver world-class enterprise software, security appliances, and cloud-based services platforms.
Dwayne actively works with global corporations on information / cyber security, data breach preparation and recovery, DevOps, and executive cyber security strategy. He is a frequent, highly-rated speaker at RSA (USA, Europe, and Asia), Global CISO Forum, InterOp, Source Boston, and other industry events. He is a published author and cybersecurity expert and his industry commentary is featured on BBC, Fox News, Forbes, and many other media outlets.
Guy Levy-Yurista, Ph.D. EVP of Technology | MicroStrategy Usher
Dr. Levy-Yurista, Executive Vice President, Technology with MicroStrategy Usher, carries a unique mix of skills acquired over 24 years of experience in venture capital, startup and Fortune 500 environments. Guy holds a PhD degree in Physics from the Weizmann Institute of Science, in Rehovot, Israel, and an MBA degree from the Wharton business school in the University of Pennsylvania. Guy served as the Chief Technology Officer for a DC-based start up, AirPatrol Corp., which developed the next generation Mobility security technology for businesses and the government also known as Contextual Aware Enterprise Mobility. Prior to this role Guy was part of the executive team who sold TrustDigital, one of the first MDM developers in the world, into McAfee, as well as led multiple products and teams with AOL and several other local startup companies.
Dr. Levy-Yurista specializes in commercializing advanced technologies in dynamic market environments. He holds in-depth knowledge of internet, social media, Mobile, telecommunications, cyber-security, and optical technologies. Dr. Levy-Yurista is also an experienced entrepreneur and venture capitalist having served in a $150M Venture Capital fund in Tel-Aviv, Israel, leading its optical communications investment strategy. Earlier Dr. Levy-Yurista started two companies in Tel-Aviv – a medical devices startup and an e-commerce merchant.
Pete Selda Advisor
Pete has more than 30 years of experience in technology, having played key roles in sales, marketing and executive management in startup and large corporate environments. He also has experience in designing, building, managing and supporting software systems. Pete spent 15 years at Tandem Computers where he served in various senior sales and business leadership positions. He led Tandem’s Success Management Alliance Partners program worldwide and formulated and led its clustering software technology OEM business. He acted as Tandem’s investor relations executive and financial community spokesperson.
Pete was CEO of WholeSecurity, a first mover in behavioral software for the detection of malicious code, which was acquired by Symantec. As CEO of Identity Engines, his strategy resulted in closing 100 new accounts, while doubling prices in 15 months. While at The 41st Parameter, he rebuilt the management team and made a significant contribution to the company’s products and strategy. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Dowling College in Oakdale, NY.
